My Dark Knight(s) ~2008-07-25

Watched Dark Knight on an anti-quasi-date. I lay across three theater seats while his friend sat on my hips and he sat on my calves while weaving his fingers between the toes of my bare feet. After the movie, I only found one shoe, and while sitting cross-legged and hanging over the edge of my seat to search for my other shoe beneath my seat he said something and I looked up, to see him smiling sweetly and kneeling in the aisle gingerly holding out my missing sandal exactly like how Cinderella's slipper must have been presented.

He is moving to Japan early tomorrow morning, and he will not see anyone tonight. The minus side of reality is that it is not Disney. The plus side of reality is that it is not Disney. I'm glad we are both doing such interesting things, otherwise this ongoing problem of never being together long enough would be intolerable.

This morning I discovered small bruises where he and his friend had been sitting on me during the movie. I'm somewhat reluctantly seeing Dark Knight for a third time on monday, with a different guy and his friend (and his friend's girlfriend/ my close friend). Yeah.

My Dark Knight(s) stopped here at 4:10 p.m.
